Angela Bonavoglia talks Athena Film Festival with Women’s Media Center

THE ATHENA FILM Festival, which is co-founded by Barnard’s Athena Center for Leadership Studies and Women and Hollywood, a leading website advocating gender diversity in Hollywood and the global film industry, is the only festival in the country focused on women as leaders in the film industry. Writing for the Women’s Media Center, Angela Bonavoglia asks, “Yet, this unique festival, with its focus on women making movies and women’s stories, provides a great opportunity to ask the most intriguing question: Do women do it differently?”
