Mural unveiled at Wissahickon train station

A 200-FOOT mural by David Guinn now appears on the platform wall at the Wissahickon Regional Rail station. The project, unveiled earlier this month, is the joint effort by Guinn, the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, the Wissahickon Interested Citizens Association (WICA) and neighbors of Wissahickon. Jane Golden, Executive Director of Mural Arts said, “We get to go into every neighborhood and we get to meet extraordinary people and be inspired by you and hear what you have to say about your neighborhood and then, through the genius and the magic of the artist, what you think gets translated into beauty.”
