As Marvel Comics’ first licensed jewelry designer, Douriean Fletcher created the power-packed accessories for the blockbuster film Black Panther (2018). The Afrofuturist-inspired design propelled audiences into a world where power was based on expertise and ability. Placing the jewelry in a starring role, Fletcher created looks that reflected gender equity in Wakandan society.
