April is JAZZ Appreciation Month and Brooklyn is celebrating in style

NOT ONLY IS April Jazz Appreciation Month, but Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium (CBJC) is partnering with The Center for Arts & Culture (CAC) at Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation to host Jazz! The Women’s Viewpoint at the Center for Arts & Culture’s Skylight Gallery in Bed-Stuy. The 2:00 pm kick-off reception includes a panel discussion exploring women in jazz in the 21st century featuring many talented women, including our former guest, award-winning jazz vocalist, Vivian Sessoms.
