Letters From Baghdad Screening in New York City this week and next
LETTERS FROM BAGHDAD is a documentary that tells the extraordinary and dramatic story of Gertrude Bell, the most powerful woman in the British Empire who shaped the modern Middle East after World War I in ways that still reverberate today.
The Angelika Film Center will be screening the film along with a Q&A with Directors on June 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. The film is also screening at the Lincoln Plaza Cinema in New York City.
