The 11th annual Athena Film Festival will take place virtually in March in celebration of Women’s History Month. As in the past, the program includes features, documentaries, and shorts, and this year, it includes the film Mama Gloria, which documents the life of transwoman Mama Gloria Allen – who also happens to be a CWCW alum along with the film’s director Luchina Fisher.
The Athena Film Festival was co-founded by another CWCW alum, Melissa Silverstein, the founder of Women and Hollywood.
