PLAYWRIGHT EMILY MANN’S new production “Hoodwinked” is a riveting exploration of Islamist extremism sparked by the 2009 mass shooting on the Army base in Fort Hood, Texas. It will be presented at McCarter Theatre Center at the end of the month followed by a moderated discussion of the play’s themes, cultural shifts, and current public policy. Panelists include Ms. Mann, Dr. Amaney A. Jamal, Dr. Hussein Rashid, and Dr. John Haines.
