THE LAB PROGRAM at the McCarter Theatre Center has received a $35,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to continue its mission to support playwrights, new plays, and the future of the American theater. The LAB program offers readings, workshops, a 10-day artists’ retreat in the spring, commissions and the annual LAB Spotlight Production, along with other services.
