THE STAGE DIRECTORS and Choreographers Society, the theatrical union that represents over 2,900 professional stage Directors and Choreographers throughout the U.S., announced the release this month of a Diversity and Inclusion Statement of Commitment. Seret Scott, Diversity and Inclusion Committee co-chair and our former guest, said this statement is an “important first step towards achieving greater diversity, parity, and equity within our industry.”
