IN JULY, Lia Chavez, gave her first live dance performance with dancers Troy Ogilvie and Djassi daCosta Johnson at Isabella Rossellini’s farm in Brookhaven, N.Y. in the woods bordering the crops. The performance was called, “Light Body,” and it showcased the practice of contemplative walking, which as Huffington Post reported, Lia encountered during a recent artistic pilgrimage to meditate in the cave monasteries of the Himalayas.
