Elizabeth Bucar is an Associate Professor of Philosophy and Religion at Boston’s Northeastern University. She teaches Islam, Sexual Ethics and Comparative Religion. Professor Bucar’s work, which revolves around ethical questions of gender and politics in everyday religious practices, has taken her to Iran, Indonesia, Spain, Turkey and Italy.
